The Austrian squad’s livery design has remained unchanged since 2016 when it adopted a matte finish, and Red Bull’s Verstappen was promoted to the senior squad mid-season that year. Verstappen expressed his desire for a different livery in the upcoming season, hoping to spice things up from the usual matte-blue cars they have had. The unveiling of Red Bull’s 2025 challenger livery will take place alongside other teams at the F1 75 season launch event in London on February 18. Red Bull teased a potential alternative shade of blue as the base color for the new livery in a recent social media post. The RB21 car will be unveiled at a shakedown before pre-season testing in Bahrain, breaking with the tradition of holding such events at Silverstone. Additionally, Red Bull may have revealed the race overalls for their drivers this season, with new partner Gate.io being featured prominently alongside the Honda logo on the chest.
